Sprotamýri is UI's Entrepreneurship Centre, where students and staff can access facilities and assistance from support entities such as KLAK - Icelandic Startups and the Innovation Hub for Education to develop their business ideas, free of charge.
Sprotamýri has 12 tables in open space that are allocated for one year at a time. Applications are accepted year-round, and desks are allocated as space becomes available. If no application is free, the application is placed on a waiting list.
You can apply for free facilities and support in Sprotamýri using this application form.
Mýrin is home to many of the main players in the Icelandic entrepreneurship sector, such as Icelandic Startups, Auðna TTO and Iceland Design and Architecture, in addition to a number of start-ups and entrepreneurs.
UI aims to create a fruitful and supportive environment for students and staff to develop their ideas.
