Academic staff at the University of Iceland and its institutes, primarily engaged in research and who have been appointed based on a qualification assessment, may apply for grants from the Fund.
All members of the academic staff are entitled to apply (i.e., professors, associate professors, assistant professors, research scientists, research scholars and research specialists with a qualification assessment).
The application deadline is 15 October, 2024.
Note!
- Grantees who have an active 2-3 year grant from last allocations are expected not to apply for a new grant until towards the end of their current grant period.
- A grantee for a multi-year grant will be allocated a grant annually for the number of years applied for.
- Annual progress reports are no longer required but a final report on any previous grant must be submitted along with a new grant application.
