To applicants

The aim of the University of Iceland Research Fund is to strengthen research within the University.

Evaluation of the applications will be based on the scientific value of the proposed research, the present state of knowledge, objectives, methodology and time plan for the research project and the recent publication record of the applicant.

Financial restrictions allow only one project to be awarded to each applicant. A new grant application must be accompanied by a final report for any previous grant from the University of Iceland Research Fund.

It is not necessary to include a list of publications as the applicants’ publication record is assessed based on annual reports (from 2019-2023).
