Graduate students and academic staff at the University of Iceland can apply for grants from funds operated at the University.
Unfortunately, no funding is provided for registration or processing fees. In some cases various unions will cover registration fees.
Funds provide grants for research to doctoral students and research scholars at the University of Iceland.
In addition, the University of Iceland has over sixty scholarship funds and gifts that were bequeathed to the institution since its establishment in 1911.
These funds aim to support specific projects in various fields of study, benefiting the university's students or staff.
University students can also apply for Erasmus+ and Nordplus grants to study abroad.
