- From 2018: Senior High School Diploma - Katibayan/Academic Track (after 12 years education) + 1 year of higher education studies in academic subjects
- Before 2018: High School Diploma - Katibayan/Academic Track (after 10 years education) + 2 years of higher education studies in academic subjects
Documents requirements
- Diploma for completed high school education.
- Transcript of records for higher education studies.
Please submit your transcripts and diplomas with an Apostille certification, Red Ribbon with a confirmation from CHED. To receive apostille certification, an applicant must bring the original document to the competent authority for such certification in the respective country. You then attach your documents to the online application with the apostille certification; in that way, the University of Iceland can verify the authenticity of your documents.
- A minimum of a 5-year bachelor degree (or 4-year bachelor and 1-year of master studies)
The admission requirement for most study programs at the University of Iceland at the graduate level is to have finished a bachelor's degree with a first-class grade average (7.25). Documents requirements
- A copy of the diploma issued by the institution.
- Transcript of records.
In cases where the student attended several institutions, a transcript issued by the last institution should be sent. Special Order number must be displayed.

If your school issues your transcripts in English, these can be accepted.
Please note that in some instances, we may also require documents issued in their original language.
Please note that the higher education needs to be recognized by CHED (Commission on Higher Education)
TESDA recognized education is not considered to meet the requirements.
