Veröld - Hús Vigdísar
Dana El Kurd, assistant professor at the University of Richmond in the Department of Political Science, and a senior nonresident fellow at the Arab Center Washington will give a lecture at UI called Palestine, Israel, and Failed Peace.
The lecture will be held in Auðarsalur in Veröld, Tuesday 14 October at 16.30.
This talk will cover the history of the Oslo Peace Accords between Palestine and Israel, their limitations, and their impacts. The talk will also address what we can learn from the Oslo Accords when assessing recent policy proposals, and what that means for the future of the conflict.
