Life gives us varying opportunities to be outdoors. Many factors influence this, and it is very important that we as a society seek diverse ways to create opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors and nature. Dr. TA Loeffler will discuss outdoor recreation from various perspectives, with an emphasis on what can be done to make it accessible to us all.

TA Loeffler is a celebrated educator, adventurer, nature advocate, author, and professional keynote speaker from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. TA is a professor of Outdoor Education and Recreation in the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation at Memorial University.
The event is organized by ÖBÍ Rights Association (an umbrella organization for disabled people in Iceland) and the Leisure Studies program at the University of Iceland.
