ORPHEUS works to support and grow quality in doctoral education. Prof Bob Harris (former President) and Dr Janet Carton (Vice President) both have significant expertise in research supervisor training, support and development. They have developed this programme (Feb 6th/7th) in response to the specific needs highlighted by supervisors in the School of Health Sciences, at the University of Iceland. The two, half-day programme will engage participants in the essential, contemporary approaches which will improve supervisory practice and use of supervisory time, keeping an eye on common challenges and future demands. The interactive sessions will also support peer learning through sharing of expertise.
