Student Registration oversees registration for all students from admission to graduation. Student Registration keeps academic records for each student and assists them with various matters, especially concerning admission and registration. Applications to study at UI must be submitted online through the Application Portal.
The student register is used for planning:
- study programmes
- courses
- timetables
- exams, and more
Responsibilities of Student Registration include
- Overseeing enrolment and course registration at all UI faculties.
- Registering and storing data on students' transcripts, academic progress, courses, exams and grades.
- Collecting registration fees.
- Responding to all queries students may have relating to their registration.
- Processing requests for registration and deregistration for courses and exams during advertised registration periods, if students are unable to do it themselves through the Ugla intranet.
- Issuing confirmations of admissions status, overviews of academic progress, and certified copies of degree certificates. The Service Desk in the University Centre can also issue confirmations of admission status.
- Processing reports from students of illness during exam periods.
- Organising graduation ceremonies in cooperation with faculties and the Rector's Office.
