Supporting networking with Icelandic

Tengslatorg (Careers Connection) is a collaborative platform that supports networking with Icelandic businesses and the public sector.

The University allows employers to advertise jobs that require higher education on the Tengslatorg website free of charge.

The University of Iceland collaborates with businesses and the public sector to increase internship opportunities for students.

Any companies, organisations or other employers interested in creating internships are welcome to get in touch via email: starfsthjalfun@hi.is.

Useful information on job search

Employers can reach up to 15000 students at all levels of higher education by listing job vacancies on Tengslatorg (Careers Connection).

Students graduate from UI at three points over the year which means there is a steady supply of higher education graduates all year round.

Tengslatorg also expands opportunities for collaboration between UI, researchers and employers that can lead to innovation and development.

UI works together with businesses and the public sector to increase the number of student internships. As part of an internship, students apply their acquired knowledge and skills to take on real-life tasks and projects under the supervision of specialists.

Please email starfsthjalfun@hi.is if you are interested in creating internship positions and shaping the professionals and researchers of the future.
