Abstract:
The construction industry plays a critical role in addressing climate change, and the adoption of regenerative building methods can significantly enhance the resilience, sustainability, and well-being of urban environments as well citizens. To effectively decarbonize the built environment, construction must increasingly rely on regenerative strategies and materials capable of carbon sequestration. This research investigates carbon negative materials as climate-resilient materials and carbon capture, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional, high-emission construction materials.
