Lecture: Juan Camilo Roman Estrada

Juan Camilo Roman Estrada is a poet, father, educator, storyteller and friend of mountains.

Juan is the intercultural officer of the University of Iceland and project manager of the program Sprettur that supports immigrants into higher education.

Juan will share with us his experience in knitting an intimacy with Icelandic and how he has been cultivating an ecology of belonging for students of foreign background.
