Four employees recognised for outstanding contribution to the University of Iceland were today presented with an award in recognition of their commendable service to the University of Iceland (UI). You can learn more about over 400 undergraduate and graduate programmes at the 2025 University Open Day, which will be held on 1 March from 12 pm to 3 pm. Anyone who is interested can come and visit the UI campus, speak to instructors and students from specific programmes and find out more about the University and the services available to students.

An external independent evaluation of the GRÓ programmes has confirmed GEST's significant contributions to global gender equality efforts.

The Board of Directors of Eimskip University Fund (Ice. Háskólasjóður H/f Eimskipafélags Íslands) has announced its intention to allocate ISK 127.5 million in grants to doctoral students at the University of Iceland in 2023.
