- Al-Edadiyah + 1 year of higher education studies

- Al-Idadiyah (Sixth form baccalaureat) + 1 year of higher education studies
OR
- Certificate of Preparatory Studies + 1 year of higher education studies
Documentation requirements
Please ask the institution that awarded your degree to send your documents directly to us in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the registrar or the appropriate official at the institution.
Please get in touch with your institution/s and ask them to send a confirmation of your graduation to admission@hi.is.
Please note that this email must come from an official email address that is verifiable on the school’s website, and from a staff member that has the authority to issue transcripts on behalf of the institution.
The subject of the e-mail should be - VERIFICATION: [Name of student]
Please note that emails coming from Gmail, Yahoo or similar addresses are not accepted.
The admission requirement for most study programs at the University of Iceland at the graduate level is to have finished a bachelor's degree with a first-class grade average (7.25).
