Hiking trips with Science tips: Autumn colors in Búrfellsgjá

A geologist from the University of Iceland will lead a walk through Búrfellsgjá in Heiðmörk. We intend to enjoy the autumn colors and see and hear how the land was shaped by volcanic eruptions.

It's important to dress warmly, wear good shoes, and bring a hearty snack.

Departure: At 12 o'clock from the parking lot at Búrfellsgjá.
