In the international university community, the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students, colleagues, and scholars worldwide is a key factor in the quality of teaching, research and other projects. Cultural differences can enrich the academic environment but may also create challenges if there is a lack of understanding and sensitivity in communication.
Through education on cultural competence, staff can strengthen their professional skills to engage in intercultural communication with confidence, respect, and professionalism. The Faculty of
Health Sciences therefore offers a workshop focused on practical tools useful in teaching, supervision, and other academic work.
