Artificial Intelligence in Teaching: Creating Multiple-Choice Quizzes for Canvas with ChatGPT and Perplexity

Guðmundur Björnsson, adjunct lecturer and academic coordinator of the Tour Guide Program at Continuing Education at the University of Iceland, will in this webinar demonstrate how AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity can facilitate the creation of multiple-choice quizzes. He will walk through a real workflow in which teaching materials are used to generate questions, review and refine them, and finally import them into quizzes in Canvas and Inspera. He will also discuss how to ensure the quality of questions and how to use AI as a supportive tool in teaching.
