Steps together

Steps Together" is a three-session nature-based walking group for University students, grounded in nature-based and creative approaches to Social work. The project aims to promote social connection, well-being, and belonging within the University community.

Walking and outdoor environments are used as a setting for informal interaction, relationship-building, and reflection. By moving group work beyond the traditional indoor setting, the project seeks to create an accessible, low-threshold environment in which movement, nature, and social interaction support the group process.

Each of the three sessions will focus on a specific theme related to social connection, university life, coping, and well-being.

The first of three walks will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at 20.00 am. We will meet at the parking lot by the Elliðaár power station. Dress according to the weather and remember to wear good shoes.
