International Days are an annual event at the University of Iceland, offering students the opportunity to explore a wide range of options for studying abroad, including exchange studies, traineeships and short-term mobility. The event also highlights the University's international activities and the diversity of the university community, while creating a space for Icelandic and international students to meet and connect.

The programme includes presentations on study abroad opportunities, the International Fair, a live music performance in collaboration with Iceland Airwaves, a panel discussion on inclusion, a Model United Nations simulation, and much more.

International Fair

One of the highlights of International Days is the International Fair at Háskólatorg. Students can explore study abroad opportunities and destinations and meet students who have first-hand experience of studying or doing a traineeship abroad.

Representatives from embassies, organisations and associations, University schools and faculties, as well as staff from the International Division, will be there alongside former exchange students who will share their experiences.

Prize wheel and international food tasting

Visitors can spin the prize wheel and try their luck - with some great prizes up for grabs! The stands will also offer a taste of food and treats from around the world.

The Student Cellar will be one of the main hubs of International Days, hosting events including a pub quiz and karaoke.

International Days are organised by the International Division in collaboration with the International Committee of the Student Council.

The full programme will be published closer to the event.
