Video-Based Interventions to Enhance Quality of Instruction
Insights from Pre-Service and In-Service Teacher Learning Through Classroom Video Analysis
The aim of this research is to provide insights into how video-based interventions can support teacher learning among pre-service and in-service teachers and how structured video analysis can facilitate improvements in key elements of instructional quality as articulated in the Protocol for Language Arts Teaching Observation. The research also examines how video-based approaches can enhance teacher noticing, a critical aspect of effective teaching that makes student thinking visible during instruction.
