An open lecture where Christian Christensen, Professor of Journalism in the Department for Media Studies at Stockholm University will "address the purchase of Twitter (Now "X") by billionaire Elon Musk, and how he has used his ownership to present a corrupted, market-based picture of free speech and free expression. Musk has also undermined trust in critical journalism by leveraging powerful mythologies about "woke" Silicon Valley and mainstream media elites. Musk's purchase is a warning about the concentration of media power."
