Erasmus+ is an EU education programme that allows UI academic and administrative staff to apply for grants to travel abroad as a guest lecturer or for training in a country participating in Erasmus+.
The participating countries are the 27 countries of the European Union, the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, as well as Turkey, North Macedonia and Serbia.
Since 2015, Erasmus+ has included teaching and staff exchange outside Europe. This part of the Erasmus+ programme is called International Credit Mobility and differs in some respects from the Erasmus+ programme within Europe.
