Ceremony for graduated Doctors

A ceremony for graduated Doctors will be held for the fourteenth time on 1 December at 13 PM at the University of Iceland’s Aula.

Doctoral candidates, whose doctoral defence took place from the University of Iceland during the period of 1 December 2024 to 1 December 2025, receive the University’s gold medal.

The research of PhD students with their supervisors is an important contribution to the search of knowledge and innovation. It furthermore strengthens the University’s standing within the global scientific community.
