Documentation requirements
Please ask the institution that awarded your degree to send your documents directly to us in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the registrar or the appropriate official at the institution.
If your institution does not send documents, please ask them to provide you with the documents in a sealed envelope that you then send to us.If the seal has been broken, we cannot accept the documents.
You can also submit your transcripts and diplomas with an Apostille certification. To receive apostille certification, an applicant must bring the original document to the competent authority for such certification in the respective country. You then attach your documents to the online application with the apostille certification; in that way, the University of Iceland can verify the authenticity of your documents.
The admission requirement for most study programs at the University of Iceland at the graduate level is to have finished a bachelor's degree with a first-class grade average (7.25).
