UI invests in state-of-the-art research infrastructure by co-financing equipment purchases funded by the Infrastructure Fund allowing schools, faculties, and research institutions within the University of Iceland to establish excellent research infrastructure and facilities.
The largest research infrastructure projects are supported by the National Roadmap for Research Infrastructure, which has greatly improved the research infrastructure environment in Iceland.
