Call for artists to perform at the University concerts 2018-2019

The University of Iceland's concert committee organises concerts at noon during the academic year 2018-2019 and is calling for potential performers. The concerts take place in University buildings. 
The application deadline is up to and including 4 June 2018. Please send all applications to Margrét Jónsdóttir, email address  mjons@hi.is, who also provides all further information.

University Concerts are held regularly throughout the academic year. The concerts are usually held on Wednesdays in one of the University buildings and admission is free. The University concerts have been held each year at the University of Iceland since around 1970. The concerts were held in the student canteen on Saturdays in the beginning, later they moved to the Nordic House and were held at noon on Wednesdays; currently, they are held in various University buildings. A concert series is thus an established event at the University of Iceland.
