The objective of this BA study programme is that students will master the basic concepts, methods and theories in the area of language and culture, economic and national life, history, literature and art, and that they will have a knowledge and understanding of the complexity of Japanese as an oral and written language.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate studies

Icelandic matriculation examination (stúdentspróf: school leaving examination from secondary school), or equivalent qualification.
