The University of Iceland will offer a workshop for PhD advisors in English fall semester 2018. Main topics of discussion will be the rules and regulations for PhD studies, the roles and responsibilities of PhD students and advisors, and strategies for managing the PhD student-advisor relationship. The workshop is organized by the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Graduate School and the various Schools of the university. It will take place on March 21st 12:30 to 4:00 pm in Háskólatorg, HT-300. A short online course is a prerequisite for the workshop and will be made available March 13th.
