UK/ICELAND Education Forum
Edda
The 3rd UK/Iceland Higher Education Forum will be hosted by the University of Iceland in Edda, the Centre for Icelandic studies. This event is co-sponsored by the British Embassy, the Icelandic Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and Higher Education institutions in Iceland.
This Forum is one of the key areas of cooperation agreed upon following the signing of the Research, Education and Space Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding between UK and Iceland in 2021. The aim of the Forum is to facilitate introductions between interested higher education institutions, to encourage collaboration and exploring the potential for student exchange, joint PhDs, joint lectures, research projects and other collaboration between HEI´sin Iceland and universities in the UK.
There will be an open networking event in Edda from 13-15 „Speed matching between universities to explore ideas for new initiatives“. No pre-registration needed.
This year representatives from 14 UK universities will attend: Aberystwyth University, Hartpury Institute, Liverpool John Moores University, Moredun Research Institute, Northumbria University, Teesside University, The Open University, UCL-University College London, University of Aberdeen, University of Edinburgh, University of Lincoln, University of Oxford, University of Sussex and University of York.
