The Economic Crisis, Remember?

The University of Iceland presents the conference The Economic Crisis, Remember which will be held from 5th to 6th October 2018. The aim of the conference is to communicate to the general public recent and current research on the cause and effect of the Icelandic economic crisis October 2008.
The program consists of over 100 lectures in over 20 seminars which will focus on the extensive effect of the crisis con Icelandic society and the lessons to be learned from it. Keynote speakers of the conference are Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, president of Iceland, and Ralph Catalano, Professor of Public Health at UC Berkeley. The conference is open to everyone and with no admission fee.
