The Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Institute of Foreign Languages and The Nordic House, invite you to a Seminar on the innovation of the Danish New Wave of Cinema. The seminar is a part of a programme organized all over Iceland throughout 2018 to celebrate the centenary of Icelandic independence and sovereignty.
Icelandic director/screenwriter Dagur Kári will moderate the seminar.
Parallel to the seminar, Bíó Paradís will be screening a selection of Danish New Wave films, including "Cutterhead", "Neon Heart" and „Den Skyldige" („The Guilty") which has been selected as Denmark's submission for the Academy Awards' Foreign-Language category.
The seminar will be in English. Free admission and all are welcome.
