Synergies between Music and Language Education

Jörg-U. Keßler and Robert Lang will present their model on „Possible
Synergies between Music and Language Education“. They are interested in discussing their model with language and music teachers at
University level in Iceland, to hear their thoughts about their model and welcome suggestions on how to revise and improve the model.

Jörg-U. Keßler, Ph.D. is a professor of applied linguistics and vice rector for research and internationalisation at the Ludwigsburg University of Education. His research interests encompass (instructed) second language acquisition and bilingual education.

Robert Lang, Ph.D. is a professor of music education and dean of the faculty for culture and science at the Ludwigsburg University of Education.  His research interests encompass music pedagogy in interdisciplinary contexts as well as didactic aspects of music theory.
