From drug addict to Ironman, the life and times of Jerzy Górski. This enthralling biopic, featuring an all-star Polish cast, tells the story of Górski’s battle with addiction, the arduous training sessions and furthermore sheds light on a number of hitherto little-known aspects of life in socialist Poland during the seventies and eighties.

The film will be screened with English subtitles in room 107 in Veröld - House of Vigdís, and is a part of the Polish Days in the Language Centre.
