New International Students Welcomed
Orientation Days for new International Students are held at the beginning of the semester. Due to Covid-19 the programme will be online.
The aim is to introduce students to the support services offered, meet fellow students and help them adjust to a new culture.
The programme includes courses, organised walks around campus, mentor mingle, School welcome meetings and social events.
The courses include, The Student Counselling and Career Centre “The Keys to Success at the University of Iceland” introducing keys that open doors to success during the academic stay at the University of Iceland. Furthermore, enthusiastic students can participate in a crash course in Icelandic - Icelandic in 90 minutes.
