Abstract:
Satellite based earth observation has made a strong development within the past years. With increasing resolution the variety of applications based on satellite imagery opens up.
Within the talk an overview of the current and upcoming EO satellite missions (optical and SAR) will be presented. In use-cases the potential of information extraction based on data from different satellite missions will be demonstrated.
