An interim evaluation of Bjarnheiður Kristinsdóttir doctoralstudent at the School of EducationThe evaluation of  Bjarnheiður Kristinsdóttir ‘s doctoral project will take place June 18th, 2019 at University of Iceland, School of Education, Stakkahlíð. The title of the proposal: Silent video taskstheir definition, development and implementation in upper secondary school mathematics classrooms. The evaluation will be in two parts: First the doctoral student‘s presentation of her doctoral project in room K205 at 1 to 2 pm. The presentation is open to postgraduate students and staff of School of Education. Secondly an evaluation meeting for a discussion of the project. The meeting is open only to the doctoral student and the Evaluation Committee. The language of the presentation and the meeting will be English. The purpose of the evaluation is twofold, as the rules of the Doctoral School indicate: To evaluate the doctoral student‘s competence in conducting the proposed doctoral research project and to provide her with feedback to do this as well as may be. The evaluation committee consist of Bjarnheiður‘ s supervisors Dr. Freyja Hreinsdóttir, Associate professor, University of Iceland, co - supervisor Dr. Zsolt Lavicza, Professor Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria, and two external examiners: Dr. Kristín Bjarnadóttir, Professor emeritus, University of Iceland, Dr. Peter Liljedahl, Professor, Simon Fraser University, Barnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Chair of the evaluation committee, Dr. Gestur Guðmundsson, professor at the University of Iceland, School of Education, directs the proceedings and Sólrún B. Kristinsdóttir is secretary.
