A conference on climate change and global warming will be held on Friday, March 1 under the auspices of the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences at the University of Iceland.

Public debate about the threat to mankind caused by global warming due to increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, associated climate change and the effects on local weather patterns and ecosystems is ongoing. These topics will be addressed at the conference with an emphasis on the physical and chemical processes, which govern our climate.

The conference venue will be in room 102 at the University Square. The conference starts at 13:00 and closes at around 17:00.

Moderator: Hrund Ólöf Andradóttir, Professor at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Iceland.
