This book is the fruit of the authors’ passion about the Arctic, the ecological, social, and economic changes that are taking place in the Arctic, the impact that the changes have on the Arctic people and ecosystems and the role and responsibility of businesses in ensuring the sustainable development of the region.

It is the product of the desire to make the Arctic a sustainable place where businesses, entrepreneurs, managers, scientists, society, and ecosystems can co-exist and thrive.
