Seminar by the University of Iceland and the Icelandic Gender Equality Fund: Board members' selection process based on diversity and gender variability.

Þröstur Olaf Sigurjónsson, Professor at UI School of Business, will give an introductory presentation on the seminar's research, which touches on the selection process for company boards based on diversity and gender variability.

Auður Arna Arnardóttir, Associate Professor at Reykjavík University, and Hildur Magnúsdóttir, PhD student at the University of Iceland's School of Business, give presentations on nomination committees and selection processes.

Patricia Gabaldon, Professor at the IE Business School in Madrid, will give a talk on the selection process for board members in Spain, with special emphasis on developments in recent years when it comes to women's participation in company boards.

The event is held in Icelandic, but professor Gabaldon's lecture will be in English.
