Steven Mintz, one of the foremost experts on learning an teaching in American higher education active today, will lecture on ways to make university learning and teaching more effective in today´s rapidly changing digital landscape.
Dr. Mintz is Professor of History at the University of Texas-Austin and Senior Advisor to the President for Student Success and Strategic Initiatives at Hunter College of the City University of New York. He is former Director of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Teaching Center at Columbia University and former Executive Director of the University of Texas System´s Institute for Transformational Learning, which serves 14 institutions and 235.000 students.
The lecture will be in English, is organized by the Graduate School in cooperation with the Division of Academic Affairs and will be streamed and available post-event here.
