University Council Science Committee

First appointed 3rd October 1985.

The purpose of the Science Committee is to strengthen research activities at the University of Iceland, and encourage discussion on the nature and function of research in the various fields of study. The committee also allocates grants from the University of Iceland Research Fund and The Doctoral Fund. The Division of Science and Innovation provides the committee with office services.
