Upon arrival students must go to Registers Iceland, Student Registration and the Service Desk in order to complete their registration.
1. Students must go directly to Registers Iceland and submit a complete application with supporting documents.
Completed and signed application
Passport or legal travel document
Confirmation of school admission/Acceptance letter
Documents confirming the ability to provide means of support
Confirmation of medical insurance (EHIC and E-104 or S-41)

Registers Iceland is located in Borgartún 21, 105 Reykjavík. Note: Processing of the registration at Registers Iceland may take up to five weeks.
2. After submitting the applications to Registers Iceland students should immediately apply for an ID number at Student Registration, located in University Centre. Students must bring their passport or other valid ID. Processing of the ID number may take up to three days.
3. Once the ID number has been issued should a student go to the Service Desk in University Centre with their passport or other valid ID to register as a student at the University of Iceland and obtain a username and password to log onto the intranet Ugla.
