Research at the Faculty of Physical Sciences is carried out under the auspices of the UI Science Institute. A diversity of theoretical and practical research projects are carried out, to the betterment of Icelandic and international society. An emphasis is placed on publishing research results in the form of peer-reviewed articles in recognised academic journals domestically and internationally.
