Undergraduate degree programmes
The deadline for international students (other than exchange students) to apply for undergraduate studies is 1st February. Students from the Nordic countries are excepted and may apply for undergraduate studies until 5th June. Applications can only be submitted electronically. Online application forms are available while applications are being accepted.
A verified copy of the complete matriculation examination certificate (a photocopy stamped by the educational institution) must be handed in before the deadline for applications expires.

Graduate degree programmes
The deadline for international students (other than exchange students) to apply for graduate studies is 1st February.
The University of Iceland does not charge tuition fees, but the annual registration fee is ISK 75.00.
