The School of Health Sciences is spread around the campus area. Teaching mostly takes place in Læknagarður, Hagi, Eirberg, Stapi and Oddi, as well as various other UI builings.

Study facilities at the National and University Library of Iceland in the Þjóðarbókhlaða include around 400 desks, in addition to numerous desks with personal computers, microform readers and work stations in the Audiovisual department. Furthermore, there are group workrooms on levels 3 and 4.
The University Centre has a large study facility on level 2, with reading booths. In addition, there are excellent group work facilities, both on the square and on level 1.
The ground level of Gimli has reading rooms for undergraduate and graduate students.
Open study facilities, and group work facilities, are in Oddi.
Reading rooms for students in health sciences can be found in Læknagarður, Hagi, Stapi, and Eirberg. Students should contact their Faculty Office for information.
The UI Computer Services (RHI) operates computer labs around campus. Everyone with a username and a password has access to the computers and other RHI services.
On the RHI website one can see where the computer labs are located, number of computers in each lab, as well as more detailed information on each computer lab.
Students can also access numerous computers at the National and University Library of Iceland.
The restaurant Háma on the University Centre square. The restaurant serves hot meals at lunch, in addition to which hot soup and several variations of sandwiches and cold courses are available. Coffee, tea and a variety of drinks are available. The Háma daily menu is accessible at www.fs.is (in Icelandic).
In Eirberg, Oddi and Læknagarður there are cafeterias run by the Icelandic Student Services.
A cafeteria run by the association of pharmaceutical science students is located in Hagi.
