Academic programmes within Pharmaceutical Sciences
Pharmaceutical sciences are an academic field that deals with pharmaceuticals from every possible viewpoint, from the development of new pharmaceutical materials and types, to production, use and effect of the pharmaceuticals. Studies in pharmaceutical sciences are diverse, a combination of theoretical and practical teaching in various subjects within life and natural sciences, as well as social sciences.
Teaching takes the form of lectures and practical assignments, individual tasks and group work, problem sessions and discussion sessions. Emphasis is placed on teaching methods that bolster students' independence and initiative.
