The Course Catalogue contains all information regarding programme offerings at the faculty, and other practical information on studies at the University of Iceland. Operations of each faculty can be seen in the academic calendar.
Each academic programme has its own course schedule and assessment practices can vary between schools, faculties and programmes. Students must familiarise themselves with course material listings at the start of each semester.
Final course grades are published at the end of each semester in Ugla, or twice per year. Further information on grades can be accessed here.
Students are encouraged to read through information on essays, working with references, methodology, etc. Students registered for theses or dissertations must be particularly aware of regulations regarding theses/dissertations and formatting requirements.
