Master's programme

Upon admission, students receive the students' handbook by email.

New students are invited to an introductory meeting at the beginning of fall semester. The programme coordinator, staff at the Centre of Public Health Sciences and senior students answer questions and introduce the operations of the Centre for Public Health Sciences.

Incividual interviews with a lecturer take place in November. The interview provides an opportunity to discuss research projects and possible approaches, find a suitable advisor and prepare a draft for the research proposal.

Introduction days for international students at UI are at the beginning of each semester and start with an Orientation Meeting.

Various practical information for new students is available on the University of Iceland website.
