Important dates and information

A few points to keep in mind

  • Remember to register for the courses you are taking. You can do that yourself in Ugla until Sep. 10 or, if that does not work, by sending an email to the Student Registry (nemskra@hi.is). The course catalogue can be found here.  If a course is marked with a British flag it is taught in English, otherwise most likely in Icelandic
  • Timetables can be found here. If a course is supposed to be taught, but is not on the timetable, please contact Bryndís Jónsdóttir (bryndj@hi.is)
  • If you do not intend to take an exam you must unregister, otherwise you will fail the course (see Important dates)
  • Always read your university email and announces you might receive in Ugla
  • If you have problems, come to us right away – don‘t leave things until the last minute
  • Don‘t be afraid to speak directly to professors/teachers
  • If you are in doubt contact us at the office
