The structure of the Programme

All of the University of Iceland Schools join together to organize the ENR programme.

Representatives from these Schools comprise a Programme board that supervises and is responsible for the academic quality of the Programme, as well as student admissions.

The current board of study (2014-2017) comprises the following members:

Guðjón Þorkelsson, professor Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition
- Substitute member is Kristberg Kristbergsson, professor Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition

Appointed by School of Humanities:
Sveinn Yngvi Egilsson, professor Faculty of Icelandic and Comparative Cultural Studies
- Substitute member is Ragnheiður Kristjánsdóttir, assistant professor Faculty of History and Philosophy

Appointed by School of Education:
Ólafur Páll Jónsson, associate professor Faculty of Education Studies
- Substitute member is Allyson Macdonald, professor Faculty of Education Studies

Appointed by School of Engineering and Natural Sciences:
Hrund Ólöf Andradóttir, associate professor Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Substitute member is Jón Ólafsson, professor in oceanography

The programme board aims at visibility towards students of the programme, for example by attending regular, informal coffee gatherings with students and staff.
